1. Acceptance of Terms

We make every effort to provide accurate support, but we do not guarantee resolution of every issue. In no event shall SmartHomeHelp, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, device or property damage, or any other losses arising from your use or inability to use the Services.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Services is to discontinue use of the Services.
6. Account Security
If you create an account or provide login credentials, you are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and for all activities that occur under your account.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may contain links or referrals to third-party sites or vendors. SmartHomeHelp does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for third-party websites or services. Use of these is at your own risk.
10. Payment Terms
All Services are billed in U.S. dollars and must be paid in full before or upon delivery of service. Refunds are issued only at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
12. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles
2. Scope of Services
SmartHomeHelp provides remote support services for smart home systems, including but not limited to Wi-Fi troubleshooting, AV system programming, control system configurations, and other smart device diagnostics. All support is delivered remotely via chat, video, or email communication.
Although we do not provide in-home support, we may, upon request, introduce you to third-party local AV companies for in-home service work. These referrals are made solely as a convenience, and SmartHomeHelp is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work performed by such third-party providers. We do not guarantee or warrant their services, nor are we liable for any actions, omissions, losses, or damages arising from their involvement.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Not use the Services for unlawful purposes.
- Follow instructions and recommendations provided by SmartHomeHelp technicians.
- Have necessary permissions to access the systems or networks you are requesting help with
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided by SmartHomeHelp, including but not limited to videos, graphics, text, workflows, and proprietary methods, are the intellectual property of SmartHomeHelp or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SmartHomeHelp, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or any violation of rights of a third party
11. Service Availability
SmartHomeHelp does not guarantee 24/7 availability. Support hours may vary and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of those changes
