Refund Policy

General Policy — All Sales Final

​By booking and purchasing services from SmartHomeHelp, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All fees are non-refundable once service has been initiated or delivered.
- We do not offer refunds for partial work completed, dissatisfaction with results after issue resolution, or due to client-side hardware limitations or network issues beyond our control.
- Because our support is time-based and provided by certified experts, your payment covers our technician’s time and expertise regardless of final outcome.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued under any of the following conditions:
- The customer fails to attend the scheduled session or does not respond during the session window.
- The issue is caused by faulty or unsupported hardware, or limitations of the customer’s home network.
- The customer fails to provide accurate system access or login credentials.
- The problem falls outside the scope of SmartHomeHelp’s listed services.
- The customer changes their mind after services have been rendered.
- The customer initiates a chargeback without first contacting support.

Discretionary Credits

In certain rare cases where technical issues on our end impact service delivery, SmartHomeHelp may offer a one-time store credit toward future services. This is done solely at our discretion and does not constitute an obligation or precedent.

Service Guarantee and Reasonable Resolutions

While we do not offer unconditional refunds, we stand behind our work. If you believe your issue was not addressed professionally or was left unresolved:
- You must notify us in writing within 48 hours of your completed session.
- We will offer to review and, if necessary, schedule a one-time follow-up session at no additional cost to attempt resolution.
- If we are unable to offer a viable solution in the follow-up, a partial refund or credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis at management’s sole discretion.

Chargeback Policy

Any chargebacks initiated without attempting direct resolution with SmartHomeHelp will be considered fraudulent and will be contested to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes submitting supporting session logs, screenshots, chat transcripts, and signed agreements to our payment processor. Customers who initiate chargebacks without merit may be permanently banned from future service.
